Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its financial strategy and operations. This is a full-time, fully

Role Overview

The CFO will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO, executive team, and board, playing a
crucial role in shaping the company’s financial future. This executive leader will be responsible
for overseeing all financial, accounting, and legal functions, ensuring operational excellence and
long-term financial sustainability. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high-
growth, venture-backed SaaS or recurring revenue businesses and a proven track record in
leading financial operations and M&A activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Financial Leadership: Serve as the primary financial advisor to the CEO,
    executive team, and board, providing data-driven insights to drive business growth and
    scalability.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
    processes, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Operational Finance Management: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including
    accounting, treasury, tax compliance, and risk management.
  • Investor & Board Relations: Develop and communicate the company’s financial narrative
    to investors, board members, and key stakeholders, fostering trust and transparency.
  • Compliance & Internal Controls: Ensure adherence to GAAP, tax regulations, and best
    financial practices, establishing and maintaining robust internal controls.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions: Lead financial due diligence, negotiations, and integration
    efforts related to M&A transactions, supporting the company’s strategic expansion.
  • Capital Management: Optimize cash flow, investment strategies, and fundraising efforts
    to sustain and accelerate business growth.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Build, mentor, and lead high-performing finance,
    accounting, and legal teams, cultivating a culture of excellence and continuous
    improvement.

Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive financial leadership experience in venture or PE-backed SaaS or recurring
    revenue businesses.
  • Proven track record in M&A transactions, with direct experience leading sell-side
    processes as a CFO.
  • Expertise in financial strategy and investor relations, with the ability to effectively
    articulate the company’s financial vision.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a
    related field. An MBA or CPA is a plus.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on scalability, innovation, and operational efficiency.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and
    drive data-informed decisions.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities, fostering a high-performance
    financial organization.

Compensation & Benefits
